THE CONSERVATION WATCH

This project is a collaboration between Von Doren and ENGWIND, where time and art come together.
For me, this was about creating something that feels emotional, physical, and lasting, not just a product.
The Idea Behind the Collaboration

Working with Von Doren felt natural from the beginning.
We share a deep respect for craftsmanship and storytelling.
This project was built slowly, with a lot of care in the small details, where both
my visual world and their watchmaking philosophy could live side by side.

The Watch

The watch is powered by the Swiss Ronda 1069 movement, chosen for its reliability and precision.
The dial is inspired by space and silence, with a star-filled sky stretching between Earth and Mars.
Every single star is carefully placed. Lume is applied to each one, so the galaxy comes alive in the dark.

Only 100 pieces of the watch exist.
The Artwork – LEFT BEHIND

Alongside the watch, I created a physical artwork based on my piece LEFT BEHIND.
This work explores what we leave behind as humans, and how dependent we have become on technology and artificial systems.

The artwork is not automatically included, but it is exclusively available to those who own the watch.
Numbered as One

Both the watch and the artwork exist in editions of 100.
If you choose to purchase the artwork as a watch owner, it will be signed and numbered with the exact same number as your watch.
This connects the objects in a very personal way.

This is not just about telling time.
It is about preserving a moment.
A small reminder that time and art can exist as one object.
