CHERRY is a series where I wanted to explore automotive design from a different perspective. Instead of focusing on the car as a whole, I wanted to highlight the curves, surfaces and reflections that make these machines so timeless. The series consists of three icons: the Porsche 356 Speedster, Ferrari F80 and Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

Flowing across each car are abstract chrome serpents, creating a mysterious and almost surreal presence. They are not meant to represent anything specific, but rather to guide the eye through the composition and reveal new shapes, reflections and details within the bodywork. The result is a balance between elegance, tension and curiosity.
I wanted to keep the color palette minimal, using only deep cherry red tones alongside chrome and black. This allowed the reflections, highlights and metallic surfaces to become the main focus of the artwork while giving the entire series a cohesive identity.
The centerpiece of the series, F80 CHERRY, contains an additional layer of detail. When viewed up close, the chrome serpent reveals hundreds of small inscriptions and illustrations, including Ferrari facts, historic models, significant milestones and hand-drawn outlines of Formula 1 circuits from around the world. What appears simple from a distance gradually unfolds into a deeper story the closer you get.
CHERRY is ultimately a study of form, light and reflection. A collection of automotive portraits where familiar icons are transformed into something unexpected.
